The Board of Coastal Marine Asia Holdings Ltd., the specialist Marine Insurance MGA & risk management consultancy, is pleased to announce the following appointments with effect from the 1^st of April 2025.

Joe Battle, a director of Coastal Marine Asia Holdings Ltd., has taken up the expanded role as Chairman of the Board. Joe is a distinguished marine underwriter with over 40 years of experience in the London and international marine markets. He has held a variety of senior roles including Active Underwriter of a Lloyd’s syndicate, and CEO of a Lloyd’s Managing Agent. Joe brings with him a unique set of skills as the company prepares to expand its operations and territorial footprint to lay the foundations for future growth.

The Board is also pleased to announce, concurrently, the appointment of Callum Clark to the newly created role of Group CEO. Callum has worked in the marine market for over 20 years in a career that spans marine insurance broking (London-based), marine insurance and underwriting (Singapore-based) and latterly marine reinsurance broking in London. Callum and Joe bring with them a broad range of skills that complement those of the current Coastal Marine team.

Since launching in 2012, Coastal Marine and the founding management team led by Mark Stevens have built a strong presence in key markets in Asia, and latterly in Europe and the Middle East servicing the needs of the company’s valued intermediary producers. Coastal Marine has delivered a unique customer service level both in terms of speed of response and prompt settlement of claims.

The new senior appointments add a strong set of complementary skill sets to the current team that will enable Coastal Marine to better support our client’s needs, in a fast-changing and increasingly competitive marketplace. With the strengthened senior management team, the company is looking forward to building upon the strong foundations that have been laid and launching the company into its next phase of growth.
