Coastal Marine announces the successful acquisition of LBY Reinsurance Brokers (Cyprus) Limited and its rebranding to Coastal Cyprus Insurance Brokers and Underwriters Limited. This strategic move reflects Coastal Marine’s commitment to expand its global footprint.

Coastal Cyprus Insurance Brokers and Underwriters Limited is locally incorporated and regulated in Cyprus under Certificate 6519, with its operational hub situated in Limassol, Coastal Cyprus will specialize in brown water marine hull reinsurance business. This specialization underscores Coastal Cyprus’ dedication to offering tailored solutions in a specific niche, ensuring the highest level of expertise and service to its clientele. 

Heading the operations in Cyprus is Director and General Manager Laurent Biehly. Laurent brings a wealth of experience and strategic leadership that will help accelerate Coastal footprint in the region.
