The Board of Coastal Marine Asia Holdings Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Messrs. Jonathan Battle and Callum Clark as Directors of the company. Both Directors will be based in London and actively support the development of the Company’s business in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Joe Battle, is a senior figure in the International marine market and brings to Coastal Marine over 38 years of cross-class underwriting experience in the Lloyd’s and Company market. He has a well-established and successful track record of growth & profitability in leading insurers including Ace Global Markets, Axis and Antares Managing Agency, where he was Chief Executive. Joe will provide a unique set of business implementation and change management skills as the Company looks to broaden its market offering and geographic reach.

Callum Clark joins the Company from Aon London, where he led the London market marine & energy reinsurance team with responsibility for the company’s portfolio in both Japan and key global accounts. Prior to joining Aon, Callum led the marine hull division for Chubb Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for underwriting and growing a regional portfolio: additionally, he had responsibility for marine underwriting, audit and reinsurance. With a strong technical and marketing background, Callum’s skill sets, and broad Asian and London market contacts will help add further depth to the existing Coastal Marine team.
